Snagger

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 May 2026
The short version Snagger is an offline-first app. Everything you create — projects, properties, plans, photos, pins, reports, settings — is stored on your device only. The App does not have user accounts, does not communicate with any Snagger server, and does not contain analytics or third-party tracking SDKs.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Snagger mobile application ("the App") handles information. Read it together with the Terms & Conditions.

1. Information We Process Locally

The App processes the following information on your device, never transmitting it to us:

This data is stored in the App's local database and document storage. It is not uploaded anywhere by the App.

2. Permissions We Ask For

The App requests these device permissions, used only for the purposes described:

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features will stop working if you do.

3. Data You Choose to Share

When you use the App's "Share" function (e.g. sharing a generated report PDF or a backup .zip), your device's native share sheet opens and you choose the destination — for example email, WhatsApp, Drive, or another app. Once you send a file through another app, that app's privacy policy governs what happens to it. We have no visibility into, or control over, that process.

4. Backups

The "Export Backup" feature creates a .zip file containing your projects, photos, plans and settings, and offers it to your device's share sheet. Where you save that .zip — your local storage, an email, a cloud drive — is your choice. Treat backup files as you would any other personal records.

5. Children

The App is intended for professional and adult use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly process personal information of children.

6. Third Parties

The App does not include third-party advertising networks, analytics services, crash-reporting services, or marketing trackers.

7. Operating-System and Store Data

Apple App Store and Google Play may collect aggregated, device-level information about installs, crashes, and app usage as part of their platforms. That data is held by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies and is not shared with us in a way that identifies individuals.

8. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Snagger Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Payment, billing, refunds, and renewal management are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own terms. We do not see or store your payment card details, billing address, or store account email. The only purchase-related information the App receives is the entitlement state (whether you currently have an active subscription, and which product), which is held on your device alongside the rest of your data. We do not have a server that stores or links purchases to you. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

9. Your Rights

Because all your data is on your device, you have direct control over it:

If applicable data-protection laws (such as the EU GDPR) give you further rights, you may exercise them by contacting us at the address below.

10. Security

Data sits inside the App's sandboxed storage on your device, protected by the operating system. We recommend you also use a device passcode or biometric lock to protect access to the device itself.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised policy.
